The 21km follows the coast then turns inland to Telegraph Track Junction and returns. The 42km follows the 21km route but includes a climb of Mt Oberon. The 50km is a lighthouse return route via Waterloo Bay and the southern tip of the promontory. The 75km follows the 50km route and also climbs Mt Oberon. Courses are unmarked and require map or app navigation; participants are expected to study course maps and race information.

Mandatory gear is required for safe participation; incomplete gear results in no race start. GPX, CRS and PDF maps are available for each distance. A tracker app install guide is provided for configuring tracking devices.

Fees include GST and ticketing fees are added at checkout. On-day registration is available at higher prices, up to about 15% above late fees.
