Run The Fort takes place on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Fort Macon in Atlantic Beach, North Carolina. The event is the fourth annual edition and features a single race distance:

Participants may run or walk. Run the East will provide timing support for those who want a timed result. Registration fees vary by date: $25 for the 5K through August 31, 2025; $35 from September 1 through October 31, 2025; $40 from November 1 through race day. Runners 18 years and under have a $25 fee on all dates.
Course and beneficiary
The course follows the Fort Macon trail and overlooks the ocean. The trail passes through the Crystal Coast environment and includes sand, boardwalk, and dirt surfaces, with dunes, hills, and maritime forest sections. Proceeds from the event will go to the Boys and Girls Club of the Coastal Plain to support a capital campaign for a new club building in Beaufort.
