Hinton's Run in the Rockies

Hinton's Run in the Rockies takes place on September 19, 2026 at William A. Switzer Provincial Park in Hinton, Alberta. The event returns to the trails at the Hinton Nordic Centre and runs on forest trails and nordic ski tracks.

The distances offered are:

• Half Marathon
• 10 km
• 5 km
• Kids Race (10 and under)

Registration is open from May 1 to September 18, 2026. Pricing changes by registration period; a reduced rate applies from May 1 to June 30 and a standard rate applies from July 1 to September 18 for the main races. The kids race has a separate fee for the registration period.

Package pickup is available the day before at Parks West Mall outside Dollarama and on the morning of the event before the races. Course maps and elevation profiles are available on the event website. The event day includes multiple races, an awards presentation and a prize draw.
