Run for the Hills - Corvallis, OR - June 7, 2026
Run for the Hills returns for its 18th year in Corvallis, Oregon, offering multiple distances on local natural-area trails and paths. Available race options include:
- 30K
- 8K Trail Run
- 2 Miler
- 1/4 mile Kids Run
The 8K course uses the Bald Hill Natural Area. The 30K continues beyond Bald Hill to the Fitton Green Natural Area along the Mulkey Creek Trail and includes Amy's Trail and trails within Crestmont Land Trust. The 30K course includes more than 3,000 feet of climbing.
The 2 Miler and the 1/4 mile Kids Run are out-and-back routes from the Benton County Fairgrounds, held on gravel and paved multi-use path. Ages seven and under are free to register for the 2 Miler and do not need to register. The 2 Miler and the Kids Run are not timed.
Proceeds support the Greenbelt Land Trust Trail Fund, which purchases materials and equipment for trail construction and maintenance by volunteers. Over $85,000 has been raised through this event in the prior 17 years. Run For the Hills does not issue refunds for any reason.
Online registration and shirt orders close on June 3 at 11:59 pm PT; same-day registration is offered for all races. Race packets are available for pickup at Five Star Sports in Downtown Corvallis the day before the event between noon and 5:00 pm, with additional pickup available on the morning of the event. An early start option and a cutoff at the last aid station apply to the 30K; early-start runners are excluded from age-group awards unless all runners in their age group also take the early start. Volunteers are needed on race day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
