The event begins and ends at the south parking lot of the Benton County Fairgrounds in Corvallis and uses trails and parks around the city, including Bald Hill Park, Fitton Green Natural Area, Greenbelt Land Trust areas, Cardwell Hill, and Crestmont Land Trust.
The event program includes several distances and course types:

The 2 mile event is intended as a mostly paved walk or run for participants of all ages, and the kids run follows a short bike path plus a final gravel segment.
Proceeds from the event benefit the Greenbelt Land Trust trail fund. Funds support purchase of materials and equipment for trail construction and maintenance performed by volunteer groups. Over the past 17 years the event has raised more than $85,000 for trail support. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
