Run For A Vet - Mercer, WI

Run For A Vet is a community running event held at the MECCA Trails, 4846 Fierick Road, Mercer, Wisconsin. The event includes two distances and takes place on a mix of pavement and dirt road or trail surfaces.

• 5K trail run
• 1 mile fun run/walk

The 5K begins on asphalt and quickly moves to dirt road and trail; the trail section includes changes in elevation. The 1 mile fun run/walk starts on pavement and then moves to a relatively flat dirt road and trail. The 5K is a mass start. The racecourse may be relocated if the trail is deemed unfit by the racecourse director.

Awards for the 5K include Top Male and Top Female, and first through third place Male and Female in the following age groups: <=9, 10-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+. Race results will be posted on Performance Timing LLC.

Registration opens May 5 and closes June 11. The listed registration fee is $20.00. A children's entry rate for ages 10 and younger is applied during checkout.
