BCU Rumble in the Jungle : event overview
The BCU Rumble in the Jungle is a multi-distance trail running event based at Eastern Dorrigo Community Hall, Ulong, centred on routes through Bindarri National Park. The program features a range of courses that visit waterfalls, lookouts, rainforest and escarpment trails in the Coffs Harbour hinterland.

Courses use a mix of forest roads, single track and remote fire trails. Notable on-course features include Bangalore Falls, Urumbilum Falls, Battery Falls, Mt Wondurrigah lookout, the Arthur McQuilty Memorial Tree and The Confluence. Total ascent and descent figures are published for each distance, for example the 100km Ultra lists +3,000m / -3,000m and the 50km Ultra +1,950m / -1,950m.
Support details include multiple aid stations stocked with water, cola, snacks and selected hot items at remote stations. The event is cupless so runners must carry a reusable cup or soft flask. Mandatory gear is checked at bib collection and a live GPS tracker is used on longer events. Medals are provided to all finishers and age categories are applied on race day.
