Rumble in The Jungle Trail Run

Event overview

BCU Rumble in the Jungle takes place on 1 August 2026 at Eastern Dorrigo Community Hall, Ulong, and uses trails in Bindarri National Park and surrounding forest. The event is organised by Coffs Trail Runners and features trail running through rainforest, waterfalls and lookouts. Camping is available at the event hub on Friday and Saturday nights; it is limited to 100 people, costs $10 per person per night, and allows tents, swags and campervans (no caravans or camper trailers). Medal awards are provided to all finishers and 100km finishers receive a belt buckle.

Courses use a mix of forest roads, single track and fire trails. Total ascent/descent figures are provided per course (for example the 100 km course is +3,000m / -3,000m; the 50 km is +1,950m / -1,950m). Multiple aid stations and drop bag locations are placed on the longer courses (for example Dairyville, Bangalore Road, Battery Falls and The Confluence). The event is a cupless event; runners should bring a reusable cup or soft flask. Minimum ages apply by distance (100 km and 50 km: 18 years; 30 km: 16 years; 21 km: 14 years; 8 km: no minimum but under 10 must run with an adult).
