Navigation is marked with pink flags, ribbons, signs, and trail marshals; flagging is placed on the side of the trail corresponding to the turn.
Aid stations provide water, Tailwind (caffeinated and non-caffeinated), Honey Stinger gels/waffles, fruit, soda, and assorted packaged snacks. Butterfield Aid Station (50 mile) has extremely limited parking and crew are not allowed there. Yellow Fork Aid Station has parking and allows crew.
Pacers are allowed only for the 50 mile, beginning at the Yellow Fork Aid Station. One drop bag is allowed at Butterfield Peak Trailhead for 50 milers and one at Yellow Fork for all distances. Cutoffs are applied per mile for safety: 50 mile, 50k, and 30k have specific per-mile cutoff rates. Free parking is provided in designated event areas. Free race photos and locally made finisher medals are provided. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
