The Rose Canyon Ultra is scheduled for June 6, 2026, at the Butterfield Trailhead Regional Park in Herriman, Utah. Distances offered:

Registration phases and fees listed are: early, normal, and late pricing (examples: 50m early $120, normal $135, late $150). Late registration opens May 6 and closes June 5 at 11:59 PM. Same-day registration is not available. Packet pickup is available Friday 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Salt Lake Running Company (8946 S State St, Sandy, UT); race day pickup is available at the start area.
Course and logistics
All courses use trails in the Rose, Butterfield, and Yellow Fork Canyon areas and are marked with pink flags, ribbons, signs, and trail marshals. Surface and totals by distance:
- 50 mile: 49.8 miles, +10,737 ft elevation total; 64% dirt trail, 14% fire road, 22% dirt road.
- 50k: 29.4 miles, +5,273 ft elevation total; 72% dirt trail, 16% fire road, 12% dirt road.
- 30k: 18.8 miles, +3,250 ft elevation total; 77% dirt trail, 15% fire road, 8% dirt road.
Aid stations will offer Tailwind (caffeinated and non), water, Honey Stinger products, fruit, soda, and assorted snacks. Pacers are allowed for the 50 mile only beginning at the Yellow Fork Aid Station (miles 31.4, 37.2, 42.1). One drop bag is allowed at Butterfield Peak Trailhead (50 mile) and one at Yellow Fork Aid Station (all distances); drop bags must be brought to the race start. Cutoff paces are published: 50 mile 20 min/mile, 50k 21 min 30 s/mile, 30k 30 min/mile. Free parking is provided; Butterfield Aid has very limited parking and crew access is restricted.
