Roots & Ruts Trail Race

The Roots & Ruts Trail Race is an annual event held at South Bear Creek’s Waxwing Trails, offering participants a choice of 3km, 5km, and 10km distances. This inclusive race encourages both runners and walkers of all fitness levels to join in the fun. Registration includes a finisher medal, meal, and refreshments, with a post-race chili dinner available. Awards are presented to the top three male and female runners in each distance category.
