Overview
Rogue XC is a cross country event held on September 26, 2026, in Talent, Oregon. The event is organized as a Southern Oregon Runners event and serves as a fundraiser for Talent Middle School Cross Country. The races take place at Colver Sports Fields.

- 5K Rogue XC Community 5K
- 1 mile Rogue XC Elementary Mile (open to ages 5-12)
The 5K course runs over wood chip trail and grass and includes a small hill.
Team competition and scoring
Runners may enter individually or as part of a team. Teams of 5 to 7 runners compete for division titles. Scoring follows traditional cross country rules: the top five runners on each team score, and the 6th and 7th runners displace opposing runners. A team tie can be broken by the 6th runner; if both teams have only five runners, the place of the 5th runner breaks the tie. There are separate open and masters scoring for male, female, and co-ed divisions.
Registration and fees
Registration opens March 1, 2026, and closes September 25, 2026. The listed race fee for the Community 5K is $20. The Elementary Mile shows a nominal fee and is restricted to ages 5 to 12. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
