Rockcut Ultra, Halfcut and Shortcut

The event takes place in Twillingate, NL, with a listed location of 34 Main Street. Races use the Rockcut Twillingate Trails on the edge of the North Atlantic. Terrain includes coastal narrow single track, forested sections, bogs and road segments through outport communities on Twillingate Island.

Distances offered:

• 50K - 50 kilometres on the Rockcut Twillingate Trails.
• 23K - loop of North Island on mostly coastal single track.
• 9K - shorter loop starting at Snellins Cove.

The Rockcut Ultra covers 50 kilometres across varied coastal and inland trail terrain around Twillingate Island.

The Halfcut is a 23 kilometre loop of Twillingate's North Island, largely on coastal single-track trails that showcase local coastal scenery.

The Shortcut is a 9 kilometre loop beginning at Snellins Cove. The route goes to Back Harbour, up and around Batrix Island, through Spencer's Park, back through Back Harbour to Smith's Lookout (including the climb to the Cross) and returns to Snellins Cove.
