Riverbend Ultras 12 HR/50K : Riverbend Park, Jupiter FL
Riverbend Ultras is a low-key trail event held at the River Pavilion on Picnic Island in Riverbend Park, Jupiter, FL. The course uses gravel trails, including a section of the Lake to Ocean Trail, and runs through oaks and cabbage palms with frequent wildlife sightings.
Distances offered:
- 12-Hour: as many 3.25-mile Riverbend loops as completed; later transfers to Picnic Island loop.
- 50K: two 2.85-mile Picnic Island loops plus nine 3.25-mile Riverbend loops (31.2 miles).
- Fun Run: approximately 5k (3.2 miles), not timed, optional t-shirt.
All 50K and 12-Hour entrants receive shirts and medals. Trophies are awarded to first place male and female in each distance. Fun Run participants pay a nominal fee, receive a medal, are not timed, and do not qualify for awards. The event is organized as a self-supported gathering; participants are expected to manage their own needs, although a communal potluck is encouraged and there is ample space for day setups.
The event is run as a nonprofit effort and proceeds beyond basic overhead will benefit the local Florida Trail Association chapter. No refunds are offered; registrants unable to attend may defer their registration to the following year, otherwise fees are treated as a donation.
