About the race
The Gardens Trailblazer 5k is a seasonal run and walk event held on Saturday, December 5, 2026, at The Gardens North County District Park, 5101 117th Ct N in Palm Beach Gardens. The event offers a festive atmosphere and is organized as a community family activity on the park trails.
Participants may choose from the following distances:
- 5k
- 2k
The event features awards for overall and age-group finishers. Awards include top three overall male and female finishers and top three male and female finishers in each age group: 12 & under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. The top boy and girl finishers under 12 will participate in the city tree lighting event following the race.
Chip timing and live timing services are provided, plus preliminary results kiosks, finisher medals, and a downloadable finisher video. Registration for the event includes a long sleeve performance shirt, a finisher prize, chip timing, an individual results page, a finisher certificate, and a 20-second video of the competitor crossing the start/finish line.
Packet pickup is scheduled for December 4, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Burns Road Community Center, 4404 Burns Rd. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
