Ridgeway Run 2026

Ridgeway Run 2026 is the 44th edition of an approximate 15 km trail race held in Tring on 11th October 2026. The course runs mainly on footpaths and bridleways with Chiltern views, starting on the outskirts of Tring, ascending into the Ashridge Estate, passing the Bridgewater Monument, following a stretch of the Ridgeway path and Pitstone Hill, then descending back to finish at the Cricket Club.

The event was established in 1982. The race is fully marshalled and includes water stations at 3 and 6 miles. Facilities at the finish include changing rooms with showers for males and females, multiple toilets, and refreshments at the Cricket Club pavilion. Place, veteran and team prizes are awarded; teams require three members to qualify in both male and female categories. A prize is offered to any male or female who breaks the current course record; current records stand at 52:40 for males and 56:45 for females.

Entries are available online only, with an online entry limit of 650 and late online entry available until midday on 10 October; no paper entries will be accepted at the venue. Transfers are permitted until midday on 1 October. There are no refunds or deferrals. The event holds TRA permit number 8539 and is run under UKA rules.

The organisers will allocate a portion of proceeds to plant 200 trees through the Trees not Tees initiative and will collect old running shoes for JogOn; donated shoes should have laces tied and be dry. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
