Runaway Racing Invitational 10K
The Runaway Racing Invitational 10K is an end of season trail running championship held at Wendover Woods, Buckinghamshire, on 6 December 2026. The event is hosted at the Forestry England venue on Upper Icknield Way near Wendover.
Entry is restricted to runners who finish within the top 20% at Runaway Racing events in 2026, age category winners, and Runaway Racing event volunteers. General entry is shown at £22 with a UKA affiliated rate of £20; later entry fees increase to £26/£24.
The competition covers a 10 km trail route with more than 295 m of elevation gain. The organisers describe the course as testing, with steep climbs and long descents. The route is fully marked using orange arrow markers and ribbons and will have marshals at key turns. Chip timing with live results is provided, and a bag drop is available. The event is licensed by the Trail Running Association (license #8217) and held under UKA rules. The maximum field is 200 runners and the minimum age is 16.
