Runaway Racing Invitational 10K
The Runaway Racing Invitational 10K is an end of season trail running championship held at Wendover Woods, Upper Icknield Way, Wendover, Buckinghamshire, on Sunday 6 December 2026. The event base is at Wendover Woods (Forestry England).
The competition distance is 10 km with approximately 295 m of climbing. The route is on trail terrain around the woods and includes sustained climbs and long descents. The course is fully marked with orange arrow markers and ribbons and will be marshalled at key turning points. Chip timing with live results is used and a bag drop is provided.
Entry is open to runners who finished within the top 20% at Runaway Racing events in 2026, to age category winners and to event volunteers. General entry is listed at £22 (£20 UKA affiliated) with later price tiers applied closer to the event. Maximum field size is 200 and the minimum age is 16.
The race is licensed by the Trail Running Association (licence number 8217) and held under UKA rules. A GPX file of the route and a runner's guide are provided by the organisers.
