Brewery Trail Run
This is a half-day trail running event in the Chiltern Hills that combines a short trail run with a guided brewery visit. The route covers 10 km (6 miles) on trails with some hills and finishes at Tring Brewery, within walking distance of the start.
The event includes a private brewery tour with a tasting and a choice of a standard bottled beer or a pint in the tap room. Organisers provide a run leader and trail running instruction, and bag storage is available. Facilities near the meeting point include a cafe and toilets.
Participants are grouped by ability. The run is open to a wide range of abilities but participants should be able to run 5 km without stopping; steep hills are walked. Guides are qualified and experienced in trail running.
Location and access details note a meeting point at Tring Market Auctions, also known as Tring Market Place. The nearest train station is Tring, with taxi ranks or a 1.7 mile walk to the meeting point. There is on-site pay and display parking. The event is described as easily accessible from London by rail or road, around 40 minutes north west of the city.
Spaces are limited to 50. Organisers aim to respond to bookings within one business day and require a minimum group size for the event to go ahead. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
