Richardson Farm Fall 5K & 10K

Richardson Adventure Farm in Spring Grove, Illinois, stages a fall running event on October 18, 2026, that includes multiple distances and on-site attractions. The event offers the following race options:

• 10K
• 5K Corn Maze with over 250 turns
• 5K through the farm
• Family Adventure Run - 1 mile

Courses run through a large corn maze and across dirt trails and gravel paths. A new option allows some participants to finish down a 100 foot farm slide. The event is chip-timed for applicable categories. The 10K enforces a 14-minute per mile time limit; the 5K has a course time limit of 1 hour 20 minutes.

A Back to the Future-themed finisher medal is planned for the event distances. Winner medals are awarded to the top three male and female finishers in each age group and overall in the 5K chip-timed category; the Kids 1 Mile awards certificates to top age-group finishers. Age divisions are listed for both adult and youth categories.

Richardson Adventure Farm provides free parking and offers discounted farm admission to 5K finishers after the race. The event partners with Trees for Troops to raise funds.
