Event information

This is a trail race organised by Mallow AC Trail at Rahan Woods in County Cork on Sunday 15th February 2026. The course climb is 250 m and the event is rated difficulty 7 (1,3,3). GPS use is allowed. The race is part of the Coillte Winter/Spring Trail League, Munster. Entry details are not published; entries for league events usually open a couple of weeks before the race.

Route and safety

Only major junctions will be marked on the route. Mandatory kit is Level A - Basic, including a showerproof, windproof jacket; all runners must bring the required items. The specific kit to be carried during the race will be finalised on the day and advised at registration. Failure to have required items may lead to denial of entry or disqualification, and random checks may be carried out.

Organisers advise wearing long socks or leggings because some off-road sections include gorse bushes. Directions to the venue and a juniors route are provided by the organiser.
