Race the North Face takes place at the Brandon Hills Wildlife Management Area, on Treaty No. 1 land. The event date is Saturday, August 29, 2026 and registration opens January 17, 2026.

- 50 km Ultra, two loops, gain/loss 1200 m
- 25 km, full loop, gain/loss 600 m
- 10 km, gain/loss 200 m
- 750 m Kids Run
The trail system is over 90 percent single-track with rocky and rooty sections and sustained climbs. A prominent ridge called The Spine runs about 2.5 km and provides wide views; The Spine is on private property and requires permission to access. The area was formed by a large glacial deposit.
All courses start and finish at the same open field just inside the main gates at the east end of the WMA parking lot. The course will be marked with flags and directional signs. Aid stations are located around the route, notably at roughly 13 km, 25 km (crew and drop bags allowed at this location), and 37.5 km. Cutoff times are 5 hours at the 25 km station, 7.5 hours at the 37.5 km station, and 10 hours for the full 50 km.
Registration includes a custom finisher medal, a running shirt, event food at the finish, professional race-day photography, therapy services from Myofix, top finisher trophies, and safety provided by Brandon Regional Search and Rescue. Portable toilets are available at the start/finish and at the main aid stations. Participants must carry personal hydration on course and are advised to bring necessary nutrition and basic first aid.
