3rd Annual Porterville 5K/10K Trail Run

The Porterville Military Academy athletic department will host the 3rd Annual 5K/10K Trail Run on April 18, 2026, with start and finish at Porterville Military Academy in Porterville, California. The course for the 5K and 10K is a dirt-path, out-and-back route. A children's 1/4 mile short course is offered on the same day. A virtual 5K/10K option is available; virtual participants will receive their race medal by mail if they do not attend packet pickup.

All 5K and 10K participants receive a custom race t-shirt, finisher medal, chip timing and a digital certificate, a race bib with an individual number, upbeat music, and free parking. All kids 1/4 mile participants receive a custom race t-shirt and a finisher medal.

Top three male and top three female finishers in each age group will be rewarded with a prize; prize details are pending. Age groups range from 1-10 through 80+. Packet pickup is at the Porterville Military Academy front office with date and time to be determined; morning pickup on race day is available from 6:30 AM to 7:45 AM. Unclaimed packets are forfeited and leftover supplies are donated to volunteers and local charities.
