Pitsea RC Crown to Crown 5k

The Pitsea RC Crown to Crown 5k is an off-road trail race held at Westley Heights Country Park, Langdon Hills. The 5-kilometer course mainly follows bridleways, starting on Beeleigh Avenue, passing through Lee Chapel Lane, and looping around the Essex Wildlife Trust's Willow Park before finishing at Westley Heights Car Park. The event welcomes runners of all standards aged 12 and over, with a mass start and gun-to-finish timing.

Facilities include marshals, first aid, a defibrillator, and water at the finish. The race is organized under UK Athletics rules and prohibits dogs, pushchairs, and headphones (except bone conduction). Parking is limited, and pre-registration is encouraged.
