The Phillips Flurry is a snowshoe 5K and 10K Race/Run/Walk held as the 16th Annual event on January 24, 2026. The event is presented in Phillips, Wisconsin, at the Phillips School Forest, N9199 N. Worcester Road, Phillips, WI 54555. The event is also described as the home of the Wisconsin State Snowshoe Championships. A virtual option is available.

Registration and logistics

Pre-registration for in-person events closes on January 19, 2026. Registration is available through that date or on race day (cash or check only). Entry fees increase on 12/1/25, 12/15/25, and 1/12/26. The first 120 in-person registrants receive performance wool socks; virtual registrants receive socks and swag by mail. Bib and goodie bag pick up is scheduled from 9:00 to 10:15 A.M. Water will be available on both the 5K and 10K courses. A marked 5K course will be available at the Phillips School Forest for participants.

Teams must have at least five members registered in the adult or youth category to receive the team discount and to be scored for awards. Teams may include in-person and virtual participants. Team divisions include Corporate, Men’s, Women’s, Mixed, HS Boys, and HS Girls. Awards will be given to the top team in each division and to the team with the highest number of finishers. Door prize eligibility requires pre-registration; prizes are drawn after the pre-registration close and distributed at bib pick up. Registration includes free entry to the Phillips Community Pool on race day from Noon to 4:00 P.M., including hot tub and showers. Limited parking is noted; carpooling is recommended.
