Midwest States 100
Midwest States 100 is a small, trail ultramarathon held in Westboro, Wisconsin, within the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest. The courses use a large portion of the Ice Age National Scenic Trail, a long footpath known for rocky terrain, open prairies, lakes, and forested sections.
Distances offered:
- 100 Mile
- 100K
- 50K
All races start and finish at the same address: W7969 Park Rd, Westboro, WI 54490. Runners reach the start/finish area again at the 100K mark; participants may finish there as official 100K finishers or continue toward the 100 mile distance. The event fields are kept deliberately small for a grassroots atmosphere on a lightly traveled section of trail.
Logistics and policies noted by the organizer include camping options, entry rollover rules, and transfer and refund policies. Camping can be added for a fee and is allocated to group campsites with space for a small tent and one vehicle or small camper van; no camping is available at the start/finish line. Rollover options vary by timing: rollovers are allowed up to 70 days before the event, partial credit is available by 25 days before, and volunteers can qualify for a full rollover up to the day before. Transfers of bibs are allowed through August 1. The organizer specifies no refunds. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
