Midwest States 100
Midwest States 100 is a trail ultramarathon held in the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest near Westboro, WI, with the course running largely on the Ice Age National Scenic Trail. The route passes lakes, rocky terrain, open prairie sections, and forested areas; the Ice Age Trail is a 1,000 mile footpath contained entirely within Wisconsin and is one of the country’s National Scenic Trails.
Distances offered:
- 100 mile
- 100K
- 50k
All races start and finish at W7969 Park Rd, Westboro, WI 54490. At the 100K point runners return to the start/finish and may choose to end their race as official 100K finishers or continue toward the 100 mile distance.
Field size is intentionally small with a grassroots event feel. Camping can be added for a fee; the group campsite option allows one two-person tent and one car or one small camper van per booking, and no camping is available at the start/finish line.
Early bird pricing is available through January 15 with listed entry fees for each distance. Registration closes on August 25 at 11:59 PM CT. The event has a rollover policy with deadlines and volunteer options for credit; transfers and pregnancy rollovers are permitted under specified conditions. No refunds are offered.
