The Philip Barbour Zombie Run is a Halloween running event on October 31, 2026, held at 99 Horseshoe Drive, Philippi, WV. The program includes two event options and is organized as running races.

The 5K course combines road segments and backcountry trails. Road sections include steep elevation gains. The route alternates between hard pavement and uneven trail footing, which affects pacing and requires frequent adjustment.
The event includes a flag-belt mechanic during trail sections. Packs of actors portraying zombies are positioned in the woods; each runner starts with a flag belt and is scored by finishing with at least one flag intact.
Registration details are provided for each event. Fees listed include a standard 5K fee of $35 with a higher fee after October 16, a reduced 5K rate for military and first responders, and a separate fee for the fun run.
