Event Overview
The Perpetua Coast trail running event takes place in Yachats, Oregon, and the Cape Perpetua National Scenic Area. The event features four race distances held over two days: a 50K and a 20-mile race on Saturday, followed by a half marathon and a 10K on Sunday. The courses run through diverse coastal landscapes including beaches, rocky shoreline bluffs, headland vistas, and old-growth rainforest.
Location & Setting
The event is based at The Adobe Resort in Yachats. Cape Perpetua, a headland 800 feet above the Pacific Ocean, is one of the highest viewpoints on the Oregon coast. The location is on the traditional lands of the Alsea people, who have been part of the landscape for at least 6,000 years.

Registration opens on March 1. Entry fees vary by distance and date:
- 50K: From $145
- 20 Miler: From $115
- Half Marathon: From $100
- 10K: From $75
The registration fee includes a marked course, chip timing, aid stations, medical support, post-race food and beverages, and a finisher award. Race shirts and hats are available for separate purchase. Parking is provided at The Adobe Resort.
Event Weekend
An optional packet pickup and shake-out run are held on the Friday before the event. On race days, check-in opens in the morning at the Cape Perpetua Conference Room inside The Adobe.
