Perpetua Coast
Perpetua Coast is a weekend trail race staged in Yachats, Oregon and the Cape Perpetua National Scenic Area. The event offers multiple trail distances on coastal terrain that includes rocky shoreline bluffs, sandy beaches, headland viewpoints and temperate rainforest sections. Courses start and finish near The Adobe Resort, which serves as the event staging area and primary parking location.
Races include fully marked courses with chip timing, live results, full service aid stations, medical support, communications, post race food and beverages, and custom finisher awards. Race photography is provided and a portion of event proceeds supports local high school cheer and cross country teams. Organizers acknowledge the event takes place on the traditional lands of the Alsea peoples, who have lived in the area for millennia.
The event weekend also includes an optional shake-out run, an outdoor bib pickup opportunity at the staging area, shuttle bus service for some races, and a post race meal and celebration for participants and volunteers. Race entry fees do not include shirts or hats and fees are subject to taxes and processing charges. Parking is organized at The Adobe with designated spaces for on-site lodging and day parking.
