Siuslaw Dunes

Florence, United States • 7 Mar 2026

Siuslaw Dunes is Daybreak Racing’s trail-running event staged near Florence, Oregon, at Honeyman State Park in the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area. The early-season, point-to-point races include a 50K (about 31 miles), a 20-mile, and a 12K. Runners traverse a coastal tapestry of ancient open sand dunes with “tree islands,” old-growth rainforest, forest streams, and remote ocean beaches.

The 50K features about 2,100 feet of ascent and 2,070 feet of descent; the 20M about 1,400 feet up and down; the 12K winds through forested dunes. Highlights include marked courses, chip timing with live results, robust aid stations, post-race meals, and finishers’ awards. Proceeds benefit Siuslaw High School; it’s the first race in the Oregon Coast Trail Series. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
