Course, registration and logistics
All courses run across sand dunes, forested singletrack, stream crossings and remote ocean beaches. The 50K is listed as 31.0 miles with approximately 2,100 ft of ascent and 2,070 ft of descent. The 20 Miler includes about 1,400 ft of ascent and 1,400 ft of descent. The 12K begins with a shuttle ride from Honeyman State Park to a forested campground start and finishes at East Woahink Day Use. All runners must ride the shuttle to the start; no drop offs are allowed at start areas. Parking and race staging are at the East Woahink Day Use Gazebo. Camping is available at Honeyman State Park; nearby lodging is in Florence. Registration opens September 1 and fees vary by entry window (example ranges: 50K $125–$150; 20 Miler $105–$125; 12K $65–$80; 12K Youth $40). The registration fee includes a fully marked course, parking, chip timing and live results, aid stations, medical support, radio communications, a post-race meal and a custom finisher award.
