Siuslaw Dunes
Siuslaw Dunes is a point to point trail event staged at Honeyman State Park, three miles south of old town Florence, Oregon. The event date is March 7, 2026. Races use trails that traverse coastal and forested terrain within the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area and the Siuslaw National Forest.

The courses cross ancient open sand dunes with tree islands, old growth rainforest, stream fords and remote ocean beaches. All race courses are marked and supported with full service aid stations, professional medical support, radio communications, chip timing with live results, and on‑course photography. A post race meal and beverages are provided for participants.
Logistics note that shuttle transport is required from the main staging area at the East Woahink Day Use area to the various start locations; drop offs and parking at the start areas are not permitted. Parking and the finish area are at East Woahink near Woahink Lake. Camping is available at Honeyman State Park and hotel lodging is available in Florence, about a five minute drive from the start and finish area. Nearest major airports are Eugene and Portland.
The 12K is part of the USATF Mountain Ultra Trail Youth Initiative and offers discounted youth registration and a limited number of free youth entries. The event benefits Siuslaw High School cross country and track and field programs and is conducted under permits from the Siuslaw National Forest and Oregon State Parks.
