Peak Running - The Fractured Marathon

The Fractured Marathon, organized by Peak Running, is a unique trail race held at Calke Abbey in Derbyshire. Trail runs nearby

Run festive trails through Sherwood Pines on 14 December 2025 with a family mile plus 5 km and 10 km options open to dogs. Finishers get chip timing, medals and mince pies and there is a Merrell shoe demo.

The Gaddesby Gallop will take place in Gaddesby on Saturday 20 December 2025.

Tackle an undulating winter cross country on Sunday 28 December 2025 at Acresford Sand and Gravel in Huncote, featuring Croft Hill and a stream for a scenic but testing 10K. Junior one and two lap races share the same start and finish.

Start the year under the Wolf Moon with a scenic trail half through woods and along the Five Pits Trail, finishing by a campfire with cake and hot drinks. Finishers get a Wolf Moon medal for a cosy winter challenge.
