The Tissington Trail January Half Marathon & 10k Weekend is a two-day running event held on the Tissington Trail between Ashbourne and Buxton. Races are held on Saturday and Sunday, and entrants may choose one or both days. The course is traffic free and multi-terrain, with a gentle uphill gradient on the outward leg and a slight downhill gradient on the return. Route maps and GPX files are provided.

Advance entry prices are listed between £29 and £38. On-the-day entry fees, subject to availability, are listed as Half Marathon £45 and 10k £35. Age limits are 17 and over for the half marathon, and 15 and over for the 10k.

Location and facilities

The event start is at Mappleton Rd, Ashbourne, DE6 2AA. Race HQ is Ashbourne Leisure Centre, Clifton Road, DE6 1DR, about a 10 minute walk from the start. There are several pay and display car parks in the town within walking distance of Race HQ.
