Ranger Ultras Peak District South & North : 22–23 November 2025
Ranger Ultras Peak District South & North is a two-day trail running event based at The Peak Centre, Edale, in the Peak District. The event runs over late autumn and covers routes in the White Peak (south) and Dark Peak (north). Entries opened 12 November 2023 and close 14 November 2025. The event minimum age is 20 or older. Entries so far: 82 participants.
Routes, services and logistics
Distances offered:
- 50 km - Stage 1 White Peak Trails (total ascent 899 m)
- 43 km - Stage 2 Dark Peak Challenge (total ascent 1192 m)
- 93 km - Full Peak District South & North (Stage 1 + Stage 2)
Starts and finishes are in Edale. The race provides Ranger Safety Team support at HQ, road head and hill top locations. Navigation notes are available and a GPX file is sent to entered participants. On-course provisions include snacks, fruit, soft drinks and soup. HQ provisions include tea, coffee, pizza and pasta. All race options include finishers medals; trophies are awarded to the first male and first female for Stage 1, Stage 2 and the full event.
Accommodation options at The Peak Centre, Edale, are offered for additional fee with specific bunkroom and camp bed capacities and prices. There is no participant parking at The Peak Centre; parking is in Edale village public car park, a short walk from HQ. Entry fees vary by option and affiliation status.
