The Monsal Trail March weekend is a two-day running event held on Saturday and Sunday, 28 and 29 March, in Bakewell, Derbyshire. Races start and finish at the old Bakewell Station site on the Monsal Trail, a former Midland Railway line. The route passes through four tunnels and across the Monsal viaduct and offers views over the Derbyshire Dales. The course is described as multi terrain and undulating and is traffic free.

Route maps and GPX files are available for download. The event includes a bespoke medal, free photographs, and trophies and prizes for leading runners. On-the-day entry is possible subject to availability, priced at Half Marathon: £40 and 10k: £35.

Race HQ is Bakewell Station, Bakewell, DE45 1GE. There is no general car parking at Bakewell Station other than for disabled motorists; two large pay and display car parks are about 500 metres from the station. The road to Bakewell Station is a no through road, so drop-off by car is not feasible.
