The event takes place on Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 March 2026 in Bakewell, Derbyshire, with race headquarters at Bakewell Station, Bakewell DE45 1GE. There are race options on both days; entrants may choose one or both days.

Course and logistics

Races use the Monsal Trail, a former Midland Railway line that starts at the old Bakewell station site. The route passes through four tunnels and crosses the Monsal viaduct. The trail is traffic free and described as multi-terrain and undulating. Detailed route maps and GPX files are available for download.

There is no public car parking at Bakewell Station other than spaces for disabled motorists. Two large pay-and-display car parks are about 500 metres from the station. Hassop Station, about a mile along the trail, provides parking, spectator facilities, and a café.

Entry and race services

Advance entry prices are listed between £28 and £36. On-the-day entry fees are shown as Half Marathon £40 and 10k £35, subject to availability. Age limits are 17 and over for the half marathon and 15 and over for the 10k. Included for entrants are a bespoke medal, free photographs, and trophies and prizes for leading runners.
