Passion Play Trail Run

Event overview

The Passion Play Trail Run takes place on Saturday, April 4, 2026, in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. The event is the 3rd annual edition and is held at 935 Passion Play Rd on the Great Passion Play grounds. Courses use the Great Passion Play Trails, part of the Oz Trail System of Northwest Arkansas, and pass features such as the Christ of the Ozarks statue, parts of the Holy Land Tour, and the passion play stage.

Courses and entry details

Distances offered:

• Fun Run - all-road loop to the Christ of the Ozarks statue and around the grounds.
• 5k Trail Run - redesigned to stay more on top of the hill and includes the passion play stage and tabernacle.
• 5 Mile Trail Run - follows trails named Genesis, Holy Roller, Passover, Revelation and loops around the Sea of Galilee.
• Half Marathon Trail Run - combines the 5k and 5 Mile courses for a total of 13.1 miles.

Registration notes and included items:

• Participants who register by March 20 receive an event t-shirt (limited after that date).
• All finishers receive a cast finisher medal.
• Aid stations are located on each course; refreshments and snacks are available at the finish.
• Each entry includes a ticket to see The Great Passion Play, redeemable in 2026 or 2027.
