There are division awards for each age category and an opportunity to win prizes via a bib-number raffle. A DJ provides music, and there is an event backdrop for finisher photos. Charity and Community
Proceeds from the event benefit Strides in Recovery, a Palos Verdes-based non-profit that coaches individuals in addiction treatment programs to complete running events. There is an opportunity to donate new or gently used running shoes on event day.
