Outrun Hunger - Conroe
Outrun Hunger in Conroe is a community fundraising event held on June 13, 2026, at The Lake House at Grand Central Park. Proceeds benefit Montgomery County Food Bank programs that serve children, seniors, and families facing hunger in Montgomery County.
The event program includes multiple distances:
- 8K Timed trail run on dirt and grass trails
- 5K Timed trail run on dirt and grass trails
- 1K Color Dash Untimed paved course with colored powder
Timed races offer individual and team registration and have results posted the day of the event. The 8K and 5K entries include a t-shirt and a participant medal; the 1K Color Dash includes a t-shirt. Registration opens March 3, 2026 and closes May 14, 2026. Published registration fees are $70.00 for the 8K, $55.00 for the 5K, and $30.00 for the 1K Color Dash.
At the Party Pavilion there will be music, food trucks, photo opportunities, and a kids zone. Participants are encouraged to set up fundraisers to increase impact; every $1 raised provides up to 4 meals. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
