Terrain Race Houston is an obstacle and mud event held at Three Palms Action Sports Park in Houston, TX on August 1, 2026. The event follows a roughly 5K structure (about three miles) and includes mud, walls, ropes, monkey bars and more than 11 additional obstacles adapted to the venue terrain. Participants receive a race bib and a finisher medal as part of standard packages, and free race photos are offered with some registration options.
The event features a pre-race festival area with packet pickup, warm-ups, gear check and vendor booths, and a finish-line festival with food, music and sponsor activations. Registration is offered in at least two package levels: a value package that includes bib, medal, photos, obstacle access and festival access, and a VIP package that adds priority check-in, a tour t-shirt, branded items and priority wave starts; the VIP package includes the stated insurance and venue fee that the value package does not. Packet pickup is scheduled the day before at the venue and race-day packet pickup is available for a fee per packet, cash only. Venue parking may carry a cash-only charge up to $20.
