OUTLAST Nacogdoches : overview

OUTLAST Nacogdoches is scheduled for February 7, 2026 in Nacogdoches, Texas at a private ranch (3835 Co Rd 529, Nacogdoches, TX 75961). The event offers two endurance options: a 6 Hour Challenge and a 12 Hour Challenge. The 12 hour option is noted as the second-ever OUTLAST 12 hour distance and is described as a separate format that does not enter the national leaderboard.

Format and course

Participants complete a 5K lap every hour. Each lap must be finished within the hour to remain in the event; runners who miss a lap are removed from further rounds. Completing six rounds earns ranking on the national 6-hour leaderboard; completing twelve rounds completes the 12 hour challenge. The course is trail-based, featuring rooty, hilly, and dirty single track and ATV trails, with occasional pavement or gravel. Aid at basecamp includes water, basic hydration, and snacks; the event is cupless, so participants are expected to use their own bottle or hydration system. Tent or personal aid station setups are permitted.

Awards, ranking and registration

Finish incentives include leather patches for 4 and 5 laps, wooden medals for completing 6 laps and 12 laps, and an OUTLAST tee and sticker for all participants. The fastest combined 5K times at each event determine local 1st place male and female winners. Finishers of 6-hour events are ranked on a national leaderboard; the fastest runner across all OUTLAST 6-hour events receives $1,000. City 1st place male and female 6-hour winners earn a spot in the Outlast Championship, where championship winners receive $1,000 each.
