OUTLAST Nacogdoches takes place on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at a private ranch at 3835 Co Rd 529, Nacogdoches, TX 75961. The event offers these distances:
- 6 Hour Challenge
- 12 Hour Challenge
The format requires participants to complete a 5K loop every hour. Each lap is timed individually and must be finished within the hour to continue. Runners who complete all six laps are ranked on the national leaderboard; the 12-hour distance does not enter the national leaderboard. Packet pickup is available on race day. Participants may set up a personal tent or aid station at the basecamp.
Course, awards and registration
The course is trail-based with rooty, hilly, single-track and ATV trails; some sections may include pavement or gravel. Aid at the basecamp/loop start will include water, basic hydration, and snacks. This is a cupless event, so runners should bring their own bottle or hydration system.
Awards and items: completing 4 laps earns a bronze leather patch, 5 laps a silver patch, 6 laps a wooden 6-hour medal, and 12 laps a wooden 12-hour medal. All participants receive an OUTLAST tee and sticker. The fastest runner across all OUTLAST 6-hour events receives $1,000. City 1st place male and female 6-hour finishers earn a spot in the Outlast Championship; championship winners receive $1,000 each.
