Red Dirt Mud Run

The Red Dirt Mud Run is a 5K obstacle course event held at the Nacogdoches County Expo Center on May 2, 2026. The course combines open pasture on an abandoned horse track with wooded trails and scenic sections. The route includes more than 25 obstacles, among them a Mud Bog noted for deep mud that can be difficult to cross.

Organizers offer distinct route options labeled beginner, advanced, and hardcore. Registration opens January 27, 2026 and closes March 11, 2026. Early registration is available with a listed fee of $40; the day of entry fee is $60. Runners who register by the registration close date receive a t-shirt and a medal.
