OUTLAST EUGENE 6 Hour Trail Challenge

OUTLAST is a timed trail endurance event in Dexter, Oregon, where participants run a 5K loop every hour for up to six rounds. Each lap must be completed within the hour to continue; early finishes allow rest until the next start and missed laps eliminate a runner from further laps. Completing all six laps results in a full event finish and a place on the national leaderboard. The six laps total 18 Miles.

The course is trail based with natural terrain, elevation changes, and variable footing; some sections may include pavement or gravel. Aid is provided at the basecamp or loop start with water, basic hydration, and snacks. The event is cupless, so runners should bring their own bottle or hydration system. Personal tent or aid station setups are allowed at the venue.

Awards and recognition are given by laps completed and by overall time. Runners who complete four laps receive a Grit Earned patch, five laps earn a Survivor patch, and six laps earn a premium OUTLAST medal. All participants receive a premium OUTLAST tee. Top local male and female finishers by combined 5K time are recorded for awards and national ranking. National prizes include a $1,000 national champion award and invitations to the Outlast Championship for top performers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
