O-Sho Trail Series

The O-Sho Trail Series is a set of weekday evening 5k races in Ogden, Utah, presented by the Trails Foundation of Northern Utah. The series runs from April 9 to September 17, 2026, with races listed for April, June, and September. The course uses the Ogden Bonneville Shoreline Trail and begins at the 27th Street trailhead. Runners follow the Shoreline Trail north toward the Ogden Canyon overlook, complete a short out and back on the Fire Road, and return to the 27th Street trailhead. The course will be flagged on race day and is approximately 5k with about 400 to 500 feet of vertical gain.

Packet pickup is hosted at Fleet Feet on the day before the final race. Participants who pick up their bib at Fleet Feet receive a 20 percent in store discount, a Naak goodie bag, and a surprise Trails Foundation of Northern Utah swag item at pickup only.

Recommended gear includes good trail shoes, comfortable running clothes, sun protection, a water bottle, and a smartphone or GPS watch for the course map. There are no aid stations on course; participants must carry their own water or fuel. Water is available at the course start and finish. Dogs are not permitted with participants. Utah Spartan Trifecta Weekend at Snowbasin Ski Resort offers Sprint, Super and Beast obstacle races over rugged alpine terrain with a 3,000 foot climb. The weekend also includes a kids race, an obstacle workshop and a scenic gondola ride.
