O-Sho Trail Series
The O-Sho Trail Series is a set of three evening trail races held in Ogden, Utah and presented by the Trails Foundation of Northern Utah. Each event is a 5k held on sections of the Bonneville Shoreline Trail, with races scheduled for April 9, June 4, and September 17. All races begin at the TFNU 27th Street Trail Head and follow a route north to the Ogden Canyon overlook before returning along the Shoreline Trail in a small lollipop loop. A CalTopo PDF is available in the pictures section and a downloadable GPX file is planned.
Registration options include a series pass or individual race entries. Registration is capped at 75 runners per race. Series passes and individual race fees, sale dates, and fee-included totals are provided by the organizer. Refunds for series registrations are available only if cancelled before April 5; after that date series entries may be transferred to another runner. Registration closes September 17.
Awards are given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in female, male, and non-binary categories for each race. Dogs are not allowed to run with participants. There are no aid stations on course, so runners must carry their own water and fuel; water is available at the start and finish area. Recommended gear includes trail shoes, sun protection, and a GPS device for course navigation. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
