NSRF 4-Leaf Clover 5K Trail Run

The NSRF 4-Leaf Clover 5K Trail Run is an athletic event held at Bethpage State Park. The course primarily utilizes the scenic trails within the park, starting on the grassy open polo field before transitioning into winding, soft-surface wood trails. The terrain is described as mostly flat with a few small hills, offering a cross-country experience similar to previous regional championship layouts.

Participants can choose from the following event categories:

  • 5K Trail Run/Walk
  • Free Kiddie Clover Fun Run
  • Virtual 5K Run/Walk

The event features several amenities for those attending in person. An informal area is provided for participants to leave personal belongings during the race. Refreshments including sparkling water and bakery products are available at the finish line. Participants aged 21 and over are eligible for one beer in the refreshment area, provided they present a valid identification.

Registration includes a themed t-shirt, and those who register at least three weeks before the event will have their name printed on their race bib. Results are tracked with bib chips, and online recognition is provided for top finishers across various age categories, ranging from under 14 to over 90. Proceeds from the event benefit the Never Stop Running Foundation, a non-profit organization that supports athletic programs, charitable awareness, and the development of local and elite athletes.
