North Texas Ultra

The North Texas Ultra is a multi-distance trail running event held at Fort Richardson State Park's North Park Unit in Jacksboro, Texas. It offers races ranging from 5K and 10K to ultramarathon distances including 25K, 50K, 52 Miler, and 100K, as well as a 25K RUCK event. The course features a scenic, open trailway with soft fine gravel surface, following a relatively flat 15.5-mile out-and-back loop with about 550 feet of elevation change per loop. Known as one of the fastest ultra marathon courses in Texas, the event provides aid stations, race gear, finisher medals, and a supportive atmosphere.
