Course and location

The event is centered on Willow Creek Reservoir and an 8-mile limestone hike/bike trail. There is a 2-mile connector trail to Pierce; organizers are deciding whether to use that connector. Willow Creek State Recreation Area includes Willow Way Campground and is managed by the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission.

Camping and on-site amenities

Willow Way Campground has 165 campsites with electricity plus additional basic campsites. On-site amenities listed include picnic tables, fire rings/grills, drinking water, dump and fill station (Pierce), modern restrooms, showers, and laundry. Half of the campsites are reservable; the remainder are first-come, first-served with self-registration at iron ranger boxes.

Swag includes a T-shirt, SpeedCup, bib belt, and cooling towel. Finishers receive a finisher medal; top male and female finishers of each distance receive a custom plaque. Start/finish food offerings include PB&J, chips, cookies, quesadillas, grilled cheese, pickles, candy, crackers, potatoes, gummies, soda, water, ice, and electrolytes; the finish meal is to be determined. No Bull Around is a multi hour ultrarun at Willow Creek State Recreation Area near Pierce, Nebraska with 48 hour, 24 hour, 12 hour, 6 hour and new 3 hour options on a 3.5 mile loop. Camp, refuel on race food, and chase awards and swag.

Run Nebraska's Cowboy Trail from Norfolk to Valentine in the Cowboy 200, a point to point ultra with 100 mile and 200 mile distances. Mostly flat crushed limestone and many railway bridges make for a scenic, runnable adventure.
