New England Womxn's Trail Multisport Festival

The festival takes place on 09/26/2026 at Pawtuckaway State Park in Nottingham, New Hampshire and is presented by SHEcoast Multisport. It is open to any person who identifies as a woman, including cis, trans, non-binary, agender, intersex or significantly female identifying persons. An inclement weather date is scheduled for 09/27/2026.

Event formats include an individual triathlon, two sport options, single sport entries, and relay teams of two or three people. This is not a race: there is no chip timing, no race numbers, and no awards by placement. A transition area will be located in the parking lot near the beach and participants are responsible for their own gear.

Distances and course notes:

• 0.4 mile swim in Pawtuckaway Lake
• 5.5 mile bike on park roads and double track trail
• 3 mile trail run with single track sections

Safety and equipment requirements are specified for each discipline. Swim buoys are required and the swim is supported by lifeguards and paddleboard volunteers; past water temperatures were in the mid to high 60s. Helmets are required for the bike and a gravel or mountain style bike with knobby tires is necessary for the course. The bike course includes technical sections with rocks, roots and bridge crossings. The run mixes park roads, double track and single track; trail shoes are suggested.
