Event details and course

Registration is limited to 100 runners. Early registration fee is $60, rising to $70 after March 1. Packet pickup is handled at Blodgett School. Age-group awards are offered for men and women in U19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+ categories; custom Mudslinger Trail Run coffee mugs are listed as awards. The course is marked with pink arrows, orange and red striped ribbons, and yellow X "NO" signs to indicate wrong directions. Trail conditions vary with weather; some sections are steep and trail running shoes are recommended. The event coincides with a forest cash Easter egg hunt on the same day. The Mudslinger Trail Run can be combined with the Mudslinger XC mountain bike race for the "Ultimate Mudslinger" competition, where combined or solo results from both events are scored by age category and by team cumulative time.
