The course includes about a dozen "Muddy Moments" where participants run, walk, crawl, wade, slip or slide. Mud pits are described as no deeper than waist deep. Timing and competition are not a focus and costumes are welcomed.
The event features a pre-party and an after-party at the finish with a DJ, music, dancing, food trucks, and beer. Registration options include a standard value package that provides a race bib, finisher medal and access to the post race party, and a VIP package that adds a VIP check-in, a tour T-shirt, towel, drawstring bag, sunglasses, a VIP tattoo and a silicone wristband. Packet pick up is available and organizers encourage pre-packet pickup; same-day check-in carries a cash fee. Bag check is offered for a fee and parking may include a cash charge collected by the venue. The event is presented as family friendly and all ages are welcome.
