Registrations are offered in at least two tiers. Value registration includes a race bib, finisher medal, post-race party access, and participation on the mud course. VIP registration includes the Value package plus VIP check-in, a Muddy Dash 2026 tour T-shirt, towel, drawstring bag, sunglasses, a VIP tattoo, and a silicone wristband.

The event runs a Buy One & Give One program that donates a free registration to a local community member for each registration purchased. Partner organizations named for this program include Save the Children, UNICEF USA, Children International, World Vision, Feeding America, No Kid Hungry, Family Promise, Make-A-Wish, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, ChildFund, and a local children’s hospital.

Packet pick up details are to be determined. The organizer requests attendance at pre-packet pickup to avoid on-site lines; a same-day on-site check-in fee of $5 cash applies per registrant if pre-packet pickup is not used. Parking at the venue may require a cash charge of up to $20; some venues may accept card only.

The course covers a few miles and features about a dozen mud obstacles that require running, walking, crawling, wading, slipping, or sliding. Mud pits will not exceed waist depth and the event does not focus on competition or timing. Bag check is available for $5 paid at the event. Spectator entry is free and a post-race festival area will include sponsors, food options, music, and occasional competitions and giveaways.
