Muddy Dash – Detroit, MI (September 12, 2026)

Muddy Dash at Everett A. Cummings Center in Detroit is a 5K mud run with obstacles, mud pits, and slides. The course features about a dozen "Muddy Moments" that require participants to run, walk, crawl, wade, slip, or slide. Mud pits are described as no deeper than waist-deep. The event is non-competitive and does not focus on timing; costumes are welcomed. Kids are allowed under event rules.

A pre-party takes place before the run with music, a DJ, dancing, and photo opportunities. A post-race after-party happens at the finish area and includes a DJ, music, dancing, food trucks, and cold drinks.

Packet pick up is scheduled for September 11 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Everett A. Cummings Center, 6130 E Mt Morris Rd, Mt Morris, MI 48458. Race day packet pickup is available for a $5 cash fee per packet if prior pickup is missed. Parking at the venue may require a cash payment of up to $20; some venues may charge by card only and updates will be communicated to registrants. Spectators are welcome and all cars must pay the parking fee.

Ticket options include a Value or Standard registration with a race bib, finisher medal, and post-race access, and a VIP registration that lists additional items such as VIP check-in, a tour t-shirt, towel, drawstring bag, sunglasses, a tattoo, and a silicone wristband. The event offers a Buy One & Give One program that donates one free registration to a local community member for each registration purchased; partner organizations named include Save the Children, UNICEF USA, Children International, World Vision, Feeding America, No Kid Hungry, Family Promise, Make-A-Wish, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, ChildFund International, and local children’s hospitals.
