Mud Happens, One Bad Mud Run is an event held on August 29, 2026 at Phil Moore Park, 7101 Scottsville Rd, Alvaton, KY. The main course is a roughly 3 mile obstacle route that includes both man made and natural obstacles and maintains a minimum of 20 features. Participants will be directed through heavily wooded and in some places overgrown areas.

The main course is open to ages 10 and up. All minors must be accompanied by a participating adult. A designated kids area is available free of charge for younger children to climb, jump, and play; parents or caregivers must sign a waiver before a child may enter that area.

Event pricing includes an early bird rate starting at $45 that ends on July 4. Group discounts apply automatically with reduced per person rates for groups of four or more and larger discounts for groups of ten or more.

On course amenities and logistics noted by the organizer include a wash off station at the finish, access to a creek for additional wash off, and a check in table for personal belongings such as wallets and keys.
