The Mammoth Cave 50K/25K is scheduled for Saturday, October 25, 2025, in Park City, KY (Mammoth Cave National Park). This is the fifth running of the trail event. The race starts from Bell's Tavern Pavilion and uses the Bike & Hike Trail inside the park.

Course and entry details
The course is an out-and-back on crushed gravel with some ascents and descents. As a trail race, the exact measured distance may vary from GPS readings. A hard cutoff of eight hours is imposed for both distances; participants finishing after the cutoff should expect that race-day services and crowds may be reduced.
Registration will be capped due to National Park restrictions, initially opening to 150 runners with possible changes pending permit approval. Entry policies: no refunds, no deferrals or transfers (registrants deferred from prior years are grandfathered), and no race day registrations. No pets are allowed. The race will be cupless; runners must bring their own collapsible cup, bottle, or hydration pack for aid station refills. Runners who register by August 16, 2025, will receive a race t-shirt, though specific sizes are not guaranteed.
