Logistics and rules
Entry fees are stated as £90 for the race and £155 for a race-plus package that includes a race shirt and a lightweight hi‑viz jacket; all payments are non-refundable. The organisers provide competitor tracking devices with an SOS function; maps and GPX files are emailed to entrants four weeks before the event. The race is cup-free and competitors must bring a reusable cup. Check-points are at set locations with example food items such as malt loaf, sandwiches, sweets, squash, cola and water. Mandatory kit includes a backpack, head torch with spare batteries, provided route maps, compass or GPS device, whistle, mobile phone and a basic first-aid kit. Entrants must meet the organiser’s age and fitness requirements and agree to the event terms and safety rules. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
