Mt. Umunhum Trail Conquest (Winter)
The event is a trail running series hosted at Almaden Quicksilver County Park, Hacienda Entrance, 21785 Almaden Rd, San Jose, CA. Courses are out and back and are marked with single-color ribbons, signs, clothespins, and gypsum. Toilets are available at the start and finish and at all aid stations and the on-course water stop.

Several courses travel into the Sierra Azul Open Space Preserve. The 30K summits Bald Mountain. The trail marathon and the 50K include the Mt. Umunhum summit section. Reported course ascent values include: 5K 968 ft, 7 Mile 1,529 ft, Half Marathon 3,159 ft, 30K 5,072 ft, Trail Marathon 5,072 ft, and 50K 7,635 ft.
Aid stations are placed at multiple points including Hacienda, Woods Parking Lot, Mockingbird Parking Lot, Barlow Water Station, and Mt. Umunhum Summit; many stations list toilets and scheduled cutoff times for runner access. Time limits vary by distance, for example the half marathon has a 4 hour limit, the 30K a 7 hour limit, and the trail marathon and 50K a 9 hour limit. Free parking is available at the Hacienda entrance and carpooling is encouraged. Volunteers are requested to staff aid stations and volunteers receive a free future race credit.
