Mountie Maker : obstacle course race in Regina
The YMCA of Regina presents Mountie Maker, an obstacle course race held on the RCMP Academy grounds in Regina, Saskatchewan, on September 26, 2026.
The main course is 7.5 km long and features 26 physical obstacles. The 26 obstacles reflect the 26-week Cadet Training Program. Adults and cadets may register individually or as a team for the full course. A separate competitive heat is offered; registration for that heat is individual only and no teams are permitted.
Distances offered:
- 7.5 km main course with 26 obstacles.
- 2 km Mini Mountie for children aged 5 to 13.
- Short adult sprint course.
Registration includes a t-shirt, a medal, water and snacks. All participants or a parent or legal guardian must complete an online waiver. Access to the RCMP Academy is controlled and personal items are searched on entry. Each participant receives a clear plastic bag to secure personal items to a fence during the race; the RCMP is not liable for lost or stolen effects. Parking is at Rambler Park with shuttle service to the Depot. Spectators are welcome but confined to the staging area off 11th Avenue and must report to registration. Pets are not allowed except service dogs. Parents or guardians are encouraged to run alongside children in the Mini Mountie. The event proceeds rain or shine. Registrations are non-transferable and fees are non-refundable. Packet pickup takes place on September 25 at the Fort Dufferin Boardroom.
