Mountain Mama Farms Classic : Summerville, GA

The Mountain Mama Farms Classic is an ultrarunning event presented by Three of Seven Project on private farmland in Northwest Georgia near Summerville. The course is a 3.5 mile cross country style loop with little elevation change and runnable trails. The event features timed formats of four hour and eight hour durations so participants complete as many laps as possible within the chosen time window.

One aid station stocked with water and snacks is located at the start and finish area of the loop. Local food trucks will be available for lunch and a post-race meal; the venue is a considerable drive from town, so participants are advised to bring additional food and water. Camping is not available on site due to limited space. Limited event merchandise will be sold on site for cash only.

Facilities include porta-potties and on-site sports massage services before and after the event. Organizers note that there are no leash laws in Chattooga County and loose dogs may be present. A trail race at Sloppy Floyd State Park offering 5K, 10 mile, half marathon and a one-year 20-mile option. Courses include wide trails, some single track, climbs to Becky's Bluff, and natural trail features like rocks and roots.
